ASSOCIATE SOFTWARE ENGINEER (ASE) – FRONTEND

Responsibilities:

Developing new and exciting user-facing features.
Assist in determining the structure and design of web pages and building reusable codes.
Assist in optimizing page loading times.
Resolve issues and maintain a standard of quality.
Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
Work with the QA engineers on your team to ensure implementations are tested effectively.
Responsible for the unit testing of your code.
Continuously improve your technical skills through self-learning.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences or equivalent.
6 months to 1 year of experience in software development, including:
Conceptual knowledge of:
- HTML5, CSS3, CSS frameworks (Bootstrap / Tailwind)
- CSS pre-processing platforms (LESS, SASS)
- JavaScript frameworks (React / Vue / Angular), jQuery
- OOP concepts and design patterns
- REST/ SOAP API integration/utilization
- Cross-browser compatibility issues
- Code versioning tools (TFS / Git)
- Code editors (Visual studio, visual code or equivalent)
- Swagger, Postman or equivalent
- SEO principles
Web application architecture, development cycle and programming techniques.
Problem-solving and creative thinking.
Verbal and written communication skills.
